This past April, lucky bastards and damn good photographers, the Impossibly Cool Sean Sullivan and Trespasser Mikael Kennedy set out from LA on a month-long 5,600 mile road trip along the back ways, gravel roads and dirt trails into the wilds of this great nation. This great endeavor, graciously sponsored by the venerable American bootmaker Wolverine, took the name Ramblers Bone and after thousands of miles, a selection of Mikael’s work goes up Thursday November 29th at the Wolverine Company Store. Be sure to ramble on over.

AGENDA : APOLIS NOMAD MARKET at STEVEN ALAN. Thu, 25 Oct 2012 19:11:07 +0000 mrforts Continue reading ]]>
Raan and Shea Parton, the brothers behind the SoCal-based, globally-reaching Apolis label, have partnered with Steven Alan in giving their Nomad Market a temporary home in Chelsea.

Launched just last week, the shop-in-shop will stay put through November, offering a look into the Apolis ethos and “impact-by-design philosophy”. Events include photo exhibits of some epic field trips of their own, conversations with global leaders and documentary films sharing “the process behind their global manufacturing partnerships.”
Oh, you can also get your hands on a curated selection from the Apolis line like the covetable indigo wool chore coat or the tough-as-nails waxed canvas USMC jacket(next on my list).
Go hike the High Line and get over to Nomad Market for a look.
