A MILE (OR TWO) IN HIS SHOES : THE WILLIAM BROWN PROJECT + HERB LESTER.

One thing better than The William Brown Project is the stand up guy behind it, photographer and friend Matt Hranek. The site, for me, has always been this great glimpse into Matt’s travels, his knack for discovering the greater yet lesser known parts of a place and his longtime love for all things vintage, military and time pieces with the word Rolex on them. So it only makes complete sense that he would collaborate with Herb Lester Associates on a very personal map(designed and illustrated by Mike McQuade) of NYC, equally interesting to visitors and long-timers alike.
As Matt sums it up, “THE MAP IS VERY FOOD AND DRINK HEAVY WITH A GOOD DASH OF RETAIL AND GROOMING.” Sounds just right. Get yours HERE. More images after the jump.
