Tweed Beauties : Secret Forts + FairEnds.

A while back, I came across a partial rolL of this beautifully speckled herringbone tweed fabric. Not knowing what it might become, I bought it and in my studio it sat for some time until one day on a phone call with Mr. Fair Ends, an idea began to take shape. All these months later, it’s my pleasure to introduce you to our first of many joint efforts in the form of the classic, unstructured yet subtly sartorial five panel camp cap.
It’s always nice to work with good people and good friends and its in that spirit of like-mindedness that this beauty was born. In no time flat, FairEnds has become the purveyors of the perfect cap. This one is no exception. Made in the good ole US of A and in a limited run of 36. Classic 5 panel construction. Perfectly at home in both town and country. Head over to FairEnds to get yourself one while they’re still there for the getting. And stay tuned for further joint efforts in the coming months.

wish i could pull off the 5-panel caps. my head is just too big (a virtual planetoid). this one looks ace.

p.s. guess i get to be “that guy” but i think you meant ROLL not ROLE in the first sentence.

I too have a huge skull, usually a 7 3/4, but still ordered it. It’ll be my second 5 panel, the other a vintage Patagonia that I dedicate to trail and trout use. This one will be perfect for all of the time wear.

        Yo. I understand…I’m a 7 5/8. But these Fair Ends caps somehow make that a non issue…

unfortunately, deadstock tweed. They went fast. But FairEnds and I will do another hat for sure.

That tweed cap is classic. Hope you guys make some more in tweed, deadstock or not.
